Tasting Notes
Robert Parker 94
This is an outstanding Grahams Vintage. A pale tawny colour as you would expect, followed by a delicate, yet sophisticated nose with aroma of coffee beans, earth, leather and lavender. The palate is medium-bodied, supple with good acidity. Very soft and sensuous. Fig and mocha on the finish. The type of port that deserves a burning log-fire and Verdi. Drink now-2020. Tasted December 2004.

Tasted blind. Pale-mid tawny. Initially a touch of old cheese, but that swirls away to reveal a beautiful, multi-layered nose of dried flowers, dried strawberry, fig, sweet spice and milk chocolate – an absolute delight for the olfactory bulb! Rich, thick and intense, this has extraordinary power, length and depth. A great, glorious vintage port. (TJ)
