Robert Parker 72
Fully mature and beginning to lose its fruit, the 1976 Lynch-Bages is still fruity, but diffuse, with no grip or ”attack,” and displaying disturbing browning at the edge. Owners of this vintage of Lynch-Bages should run, not walk, to the wine cellar, and consume it immediately. Anticipated maturity: Now-may be in decline. Last tasted, 3/86.
