Tasting Notes
Vinous 91
Healthy pale color. Ethereal, highly complex nose combines floral and herbal scents with notes of pineapple, marzipan, mint and spicy oak. Moderately viscous, sweet and shapely; concentrated and fresh. Like the ’97, this is silky and suave. The very long, ripe finish hints at honey and caramel.
Robert Parker 86
A pleasant nose of pear drops and peaches that is still closed and needs time to open. Good balance on the palate with good definition. Reasonable complexity and depth with notes of clementines and tropical fruits. Very fine. Tasted September 2000.
