Tasting Notes
Robert Parker 88
Like many millennial wines, the Chateau Ferriere is rather taciturn on the nose although there is patently good fruit concentration here. The palate is medium-bodied with sturdy tannins, quite robust for a Margaux but with good length. It just lacks a little charm but that should develop with a few more years in bottle. Drink 2011-2017. Tasted March 2011.
Anticipated maturity: 2011-2017

Deep crimson. Loose texture. Simple fragrance and really rather dull. (Strange that nowadays 12.5 per cent alcohol seems relatively low for a red bordeaux from a good vintage.)
Anticipated maturity: 2007-2012
