Tasting Notes

Cask sample. Scented, sweet nose with lots of fruit. Still quite unevolved. Lots of acidity. Only half-formed. About another sample I wrote: Very rich and attractive and flattering. A round and wonderful spread of ripe fruit. Bravo! But I scored both highly.

Soy sauce, boisterous spices, sealing wax, and blackberries are found in the nose of the 2003 Vosne-Romanee Les Brulees. A structured wine, it offers a medium-bodied character with dark fruit flavors in a firm, slightly short format. Drink it between 2007-2012.
