Tasting Notes

Mid ruby. Something rather unexpectedly fine-boned about the lifted nose of this. Really rather delicate! But with a fine composition and pace. No excess acidity and although the fine tannins are still evident, there is plenty of crisp fruit to compensate. Really expressive of the climat. Long and racy. Juicy and a complete charmer though the tannins are just a little dry on the end.

The nose is lacking fruit concentration. Leafy with a touch of strawberry laced with cedar. The palate is very tight and muted, lacking some depth but surprisingly long. Fine acidity running through it – just lacks a bit of sparkle. Jan-06
