Tasting Notes
Vinous 92
Medium red. Complex, ripe nose combines strawberry, spices and flowers. Sweet and fat but structured; more silky than usual for this grand cru but with plenty of energy on the back. Layered, pliant wine that finishes with wild flavors of berries and truffle. The Chapelle seems less brisk today than it appeared to be from barrel a year ago, but this wine has put on weight without any loss of verve.
