Tasting Notes
Vinous 87-90
Musky white peach and vanilla on the nose. Supple, pure and easygoing, with good density to its peach and spice flavors. This stylish Meursault comes in at just under 13% alcohol.

The 2009 Meix Chavaux, which lies downhill from Vireuils and Luchets, has a delicate flinty nose that is nicely defined, but if truth be told, I was anticipating a little more attach and vigor. The palate has an effervescent quality about it, beautifully poised with hints of freshly sliced apricot and a squeeze of lime. There is a lovely build in the mouth that goes some way to compensating for the aromatics. Very fine. Tasted March 2013.
