Tasted at the Comte Liger-Belair vertical at the Chateau de Vosne. The 2010 Vosne-Romanee 1er Cru Aux Reignots is a magnificent follow-up to the 2009 with very precise blackberry and briary scents, a hint of dried violet petals developing with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with fine, supple tannins and a clinical seam of acidity that delivers a sense of symmetry. It is not quite touching the 2005 in terms of quality but it comes damn close thanks to its marvelous freshness. Tasted June 2015.
Anticipated maturity: 2020-2045
Vinous 93+
Good deep red. Deeper-pitched, more earth-dominated aromas of dark raspberry, meat, leather and smoke. Intensely flavored but youthfully tight, with soil and game flavors currently dominating primary fruits. In a distinctly more meaty and less obviously sweet style than the Petits-Mont but with superb energy on the back. From a mix of 90-, 60- and 40-year old vines.

Storage
The Tilbury warehouse of London City Bond is our chosen warehouse. Our storage charges are £12 per 9 litre case (and £6 for anything 4.5l or under), ex VAT per annum.
Insurance is 0.15% of the value and a minimum of £15 p/a (full replacement cover).
