Tasting Notes
Robert Parker 98
Blended of 66% Cabernet Sauvignon, 21% Cabernet Franc, 9% Petit Verdot and 4% Merlot, the 2013 Proprietary Red is deep garnet-purple colored and displays a bold, rock-star nose of creme de cassis, Chinese five spice, iron ore, sage and bay leaves with grilled meat and tilled soil nuances plus a waft of wood smoke. Full, super concentrated, rich and powerful, this opulent beauty is built like a brick house with a solid frame and a long, mineral-laced finish.

Strong clove scent, heavily extracted fruit. Deep colour, high tannin, confected fruit. A wine of method that has little charm for me. (RH)

Vinous 97
Graphite, lavender, sage, cloves and menthol race out of the glass in the 2013 Continuum, a wine that is just as impressive in bottle as it was from barrel. An intensely saline, mineral-drenched wine endowed with serious depth and precision, the 2013 shines with exceptional structural intensity and power, all that despite just having been bottled. In 2013 the Cabernet Franc is way up, which helps give the wine more aromatic top notes as well as greater overall complexity. Simply put, the 2013 is a real knock-out.
