Tasting Notes
Robert Parker 93
Unfurling in the glass with notes of wild red berries, spices and nicely integrated new oak, the 2013 Richebourg Grand Cru is medium to full-bodied, with a nicely layered mid-palate that’s framed by fine, elegantly chalky tannins and tangy acids, concluding with a penetrating finish. This is an understated but nicely balanced effort that might well turn out to be one of the longer-lived young wines in this tasting, given its energy and appealing balance.

Vinous 93+
Bright medium red. Redder on the nose than the Clos Vougeot, offering high-pitched aromas of cherry, raspberry and menthol. Combines terrific inner-mouth lift with a refined texture, conveying an impression of tension to the flavors of red cherry, minerals and flowers. The tannins are suave and cool. This seamless wine really glistens on the middle palate and long aftertaste.
