Tasting Notes
Robert Parker 89
The 2015 Vosne-Romanee La Colombiere was showing just a slight reduction on the nose, but tucked underneath lie attractive mulberry and raspberry preserve aromas. The palate has a savory note on the entry, a crisp line of acidity, nicely structured with veins of blood orange and orange rind that enhance the finish. It does not possess the length of the premier crus, yet it represents a very capable village cru.

This is from a single vineyard that they’ve had for 15 years. Cask sample. Dark crimson. Very rich and sumptuous. Opulent and hedonistic. Very clean, even slightly salty finish. Great polish. Early pleasure!
