Vinous 95

The 2018 Musigny Vieilles Vignes Blanc Grand Cru confirms my appraisal from barrel. It has a light candlewax-scented bouquet with hints of undergrowth, wonderful delineation and touches of almond shaving. The palate has a sappy entry, lightly spiced with a twist of sour lemon and tropical notes hovering in the background. Those praline notes remain on the aftertaste. This is a delicious Musigny that will last many years. Tasted at the La Paulee in Beaune. [Neal Martin, 30/03/2023]

Wines are held In Bond at London City Bond, Tilbury. Storage is £14 per 9-litre case and £7 for cases of 4.5 litres or under, per annum ex VAT (minimum 5 x 12x75cl cases or equivalent). Insurance is 0.15% of value per annum, minimum £15, at full replacement cost.
