Tasting Notes

Tasting Notes

Vinous 89

The 2020 Bourgogne Rouge, matured in used oak, is quite deep in colour. Gorgeous blackcurrant and raspberry coulis scents on the nose, well-defined and fresh. The palate is medium-bodied with crunchy red fruit tinged with blueberry, quite supple with fine acidity and spiciness on the finish. You could not wish for anything more from a Bourgogne Rouge. [Neal Martin, 26/05/2022]

Anticipated maturity: 2023-2032

JancisRobinson.com 16

Cask sample. Mid-deep ruby; fruity, syrupy cassis. Compact and juicy, with the stamp of Gevrey. (MH) [29/11/2021]

Anticipated maturity: 2025-2035
