Tasting Notes
JancisRobinson.com 16.5++
Particularly bright crimson. Quite a reticent nose. The wine, as perhaps befits a Pommard of stature, is firm and sturdy – less obviously winning than the Volnay Premier Cru. There’s a substantial framework to this wine that will need patience. Distinctly dry finish with marked acidity. A long-distance runner.
