Tasted blind. Rich, savoury nose. The meaty side of Pomerol. Rich and round and concentrated. Not that sweet and with a drying finish. (JR) [28/01/2025]

The 2021 La Fleur-Petrus is a very complete, satisfying wine. Its mid-weight structure makes the 2021 a fine candidate for near and medium-term drinking. Crushed flowers, lavender, black cherry, mocha and leather add a dark, brooding quality, but this remains a pretty understated vintage here. [Antonio Galloni, 27/02/2024]

Storage

Wines are held In Bond at London City Bond, Tilbury. Storage is £14 per 9-litre case and £7 for cases of 4.5 litres or under, per annum ex VAT (minimum 5 x 12x75cl cases or equivalent). Insurance is 0.15% of value per annum, minimum £15, at full replacement cost.
