Tasted blind. Sweet, opulent, Tertre style. Strong contrast on the nose to the previous wine (La Fleur Petrus) but then it shows some savoury character on the palate. Quite a nice combo! Though still a bit dry on the end. (JR) [28/01/2025]

The 2021 Trotanoy has come together nicely. Its mid-weight structure is impossible to miss. A hint of new oak, rarely perceptible here, is a clear sign of the lighter style of the year. Spice, leather, tobacco and cedar lead into a core of dark-toned fruit. The 2021 is a rare Trotanoy that will drink well with minimal cellaring. [Antonio Galloni, 27/02/2024]

Storage

Wines are held In Bond at London City Bond, Tilbury. Storage is £14 per 9-litre case and £7 for cases of 4.5 litres or under, per annum ex VAT (minimum 5 x 12x75cl cases or equivalent). Insurance is 0.15% of value per annum, minimum £15, at full replacement cost.
