Tasting Notes
Vinous 91-93
The 2021 Chambertin Clos-de-Beze Grand Cru comes from the negociant side, from the same 0.8-hectare plot harvested by Bouchard s team one hour before the rain. This has quite a reduced nose, metallic at the moment and occluding the terroir expression. The palate is balanced on the entry, quite rounded with ample fruit, mulberry and red plum mixed with dried herbs. Harmonious on the finish. Give this time in bottle before broaching.
Anticipated maturity: 2026-2042
